We first organised this event back in 2011 for a Christmas party and people were amazed at our ability to create an authentically illicit, secretive drinking and gambling den from 1920s Chicago right in the heart of Manchester. These are truly summer parties of a glorious bygone era and you too can experience them.

Guests are welcomed to the exclusively hired venue with a luxurious champagne reception before being shown inside by Fat Tony and his gang of heavies. They’ll do their best to protect you from lurking members of the press and the prying eyes of the cops.

Once safely inside the venue the elegant and gorgeous flapper girls will pose with you for photos and generally make you feel welcome at The Speakeasy.

Fat Tony then calls you through to dinner, where an exquisite buffet selection awaits. A Jazz Swing band is also on hand to play you through the evening and create an atmosphere that you just can't help but throw yourself into and soak up for all its worth.

But wait! What’s that? Sounds like police sirens! A fight erupts on the dancefloor and ends with Fat Tony and the gang victoriously announcing that the party shall continue. And continue it does with the flapper girls having a dance on the stage. The fun and games go on with roulette tables being opened for business and finally prizes for the best dressed, pre-disco of course.
