It’s been awhile since I’ve written an Eventa case study (the last one I wrote was the bootleggers ball case study I believe.) Anyway, we’ve hosted several parties since that event, in fact last week we organised and managed a “Murder Mystery” themed corporate summer party for a very famous football club. Unfortunately we can’t say who it is, however that’s not going to stop me from writing about it!
The party was held in the stunning Kensington roof gardens in London – a venue we regularly have the pleasure of working with. (If you’ve never been then you’re missing out!) The gardens are situated 100 feet above Kensington high street in central London and it boasts a spectacular garden with a running stream (complete with fish), 70 full grown trees and even 4 flamingos (Bill, Ben, Splosh and Pecks.)
Guests to our event enjoyed a sparkling wine reception held in the beautiful Spanish gardens (There are 3 themed gardens in total) whilst our murder mystery actors were in character mingling with guests. Dinner was then served and guests got to enjoy a variety of different course (4 in total) with Cotswold Chicken Breast (with Madeira Cream and Truffle Oil) and Lemon Meringue Tart on an Oreo Cookie Base (with Cracked Black Pepper Ice Cream) being just two of the fabulously delicious dishes we served that night.
In between courses, our murder mystery actors really brought the story to life with twists, cliff hangers and surprises being enjoyed (and sometimes playfully booed) by the watching guests. I won’t give away the story (after all that would ruin it if you plan to book a murder mystery party for your own company) but I can tell you that guests got to get involved with solving the mystery with prizes and certificates being awarded to the winning table.
In the end everyone had a fantastic night with drinks and laughs being enjoyed throughout and when we asked the client for feedback we received this fantastic comment,
“Can I pass on my thanks to you all for arranging such a fabulous evening last night! All the comments we had were positive. A stunning venue and the added murder mystery certainly helped the night to flow!”
