When the end of the year comes around, it’s time to find a venue that’s a fitting setting for a meal to celebrate Christmas. Well, we’ve found it – this Italian epic of a restaurant is set in a magnificent grade II listed building dubbed the ‘King of King Street’. It’s a grand old converted bank that has been taken over by a well-known celebrity chef.  The restaurant is set over three floors – the former Banking Hall, with old booths to dine in; the mezzanine level, with its spectacular view of the whole restaurant, and the original Vault in the basement, which has been converted into a super-cool private dining room (see exclusive Christmas parties).

The menu is filled with tempting dishes, evoking the vibrancy and passion of traditional Italian cooking, with a celebratory twist. You can kick off with the antipasti plank. The mains include an expertly constructed nut roast dish, a world away from your traditional Christmas offering, as well as tempting dishes for carnivores and inspired veggie offerings. Dessert offers prosecco-poached rhubarb & pomegranate panna cotta along with the traditional tiramisù and decadent dark chocolate tart; what more could you want!

Of course you can order further drinks, either on the day or in advance as part of the package. Prices for this showstopper of a Christmas celebration are well worth enquiring for!
